Difference of Anthophyllite vs NuummiteBiotitic Anthophyllite looks somewhat similar to Nuummite because it is a black stone, with small copper/peach colored flecks, but it does not have Nuummite's dramatic flash in streaks of gold, red or blue/green. Genuine Nuummite comes only from Greenland, but because it is so rare, many sources sell Biotitic Anthophyllite as "Chinese Nuummite", Fake Nuummite, or inexpensive "Nuummit". (Unfortunately, MOST stones that are claimed to be Nuummite online and even in shops are actually Biotitic Anthophyllite, or Black Galaxy Granite.)
