"I wanted to tell you that the wonderful amethyst crystal skull arrived today and jumped out of the box smiling as did I. What's special about this one is that I've never bought a skull without a round, smooth head because they looked strange to me otherwise. This one's different, though, with the flowing amethyst that looks like wind blown hair! The carving is beautiful and whoever made it had a real feel for the spirit of the stone. The gorgeous colors and points are also stunning the way they frame the face so it all works together It would have been a shame to chop it apart to create the usual round head.
